I dropped Lithium Carbonate today (300mg). My doctor wants me to stay on Lamictal (25mg) and add Prozac (10mg).
The 4 days on lithium, I was lethargic, slow, no coordination, and felt like I had the flu. Lithium is too serious of a drug for me, I think. ughhh...awful drug.
So, for the moment, it's Lamictal (25) and Prozac (10). Prozac, Celexa, and Lexapro are the only SSRI's I haven't tried and Prozac has done wonders for three family members so we're going there first. I still feel really dizzy, lightheaded, but I'm sure it will go away in a few days. It's either the Lithium or the withdrawel from Paxil (or both) that are causing this.
