Hi,
I could not tell you much about Effexor's level. People usually speak of clomipramine as mainly serotogenic...HOWEVER, it turns out that one of its metabolites is in fact very active in the norepinephrine department...

apparently it depends on whether you have enough of a particular enzyme to break the clomipramine down into this metabolite....so my guess is that how much it acts on norepinephrine is dependent upon your enzyme profile....


And actually I believe for Effexor, it is DOSE dependent, that only at higher doses does it act significanlty on norepinephrine.

This is at least from what I understand regarding these two medications.....
