Yup, same thing for Concerta. Plus I also found out that a fatty breakfast can decrease the absorption as well. No Vitamin C for an hour before or after.
Which leads me to a concern. What about all these little kids who are taking the med. What if they are being deprived of Vitamin C because of this. It's been proven that vitamin C helps people think more clearly. So maybe parents should be giving their kids more nutrients in their meals and less ritalin! But that is another topic altogether.
