I guess I was so improved with the valium that it wasn't foremost in my mind. But if it has antidepressant actions, and I don't tolerate the Ad's in anything but a subtheraputic dose, it would definitely be worth trying. I've always said that my depression results from anxiety, and not through the night sleep. Please let me know if you've tried it and if you're on AD's Thanks Phillipa
I see my pdoc on Friday and am going to ask for Lunesta. I've tried most of the ADs over the years, but am not on one now. What's the point if nothing works for me. I take Klonopin for anxiety and Xanax only when I have a panic attack.
I can usually get to sleep, but almost never stay asleep for more than 2 hours at a time. It's a pain waking up 3 or 4 times EVERY night, and I think poor sleep could be making my depression worse - who knows.
