> I just started Wellbutrin today and have noticed some mild itchiness, mainly on my scalp, nose, back, and arms. It's not very bad at all, but noticible. Could it be the medicine? Has anyone else experienced this side effect and if so, did it go away over time?
Hi,
It's a good idea to discontinue it to be on the safe side:

P.S. By the way, I'm still doing well on 5mg Lexapro alternating daily w/ 100mg bupropion Extended Release. Just a note-I know there are very slight variations in generic drugs versus their name brand counterparts, but I've noticed that Wellbutrin SR 100mg makes me feel much more stimulated-I want to tackle all sorts of things like chores I've gotten behind on (thanks to SSRI apathy)-like I'd taken pseudophedrine decongestant. Whereas, the generic makes me feel calm and laid back though I still feel energetic and clear headed, just not in the same "fast lane" as the name brand. Interesting.
