I had a diagnosis of BPD. However it was while I was taking high dose of selegiline ;-)
It seems selegiline may put depressed one in "BPD state".
There is no borders in medicines. Atypical depression/dysthymia has many common symptoms with BPD.

Find below effects on tranylcypromine:
