It made me a little sleepy and dizzy but I take it at night and after 2 weeks it didn't have those effects. Trileptal is weight neutral. It has no antidepressant properties however if the Lamictal is making you depressed then it should ease up.

hi,
i dont take anything else. ive been trying to treat the remaining symptoms 'naturally' using a combination of herbs and t3 (have you heard of wilson's thyroid syndrome?). the biggest issues im having now are depression and anger so im looking for a mood stabilizer that will be more effective for those symptoms - well, at least the anger.
ive heard that neurontin and trileptal may be worth trying.
that's interesting to hear that the lamictal may make the depression worse..
