Have you tried Tegretol or Trileptal?

There is a *small* possibility that a benzodiazepine can make things worse if you are one of the people for whom it produces disinhibition. Disinhibition is the same effect that alcohol has on some individuals where they get loud, irritable, and hostile - sometimes violent. Still, I would probably try a benzo if you have already tried so many other drugs. Perhaps Klonopin would be the best choice because it is somewhat mood-stabilizing and has a long half-life, so its anxiolytic effects remain even throughout the day. That's just a guess. Hopefully, your doctor will have had some experience in this direction to make the best choice of agent.
