I decided to give the meds another go. Have been feeling pretty bad lately with increased stress etc and figured even if they help a little tiny bit - it is worth it.
So I asked my p-doc (this is last Tuesday) for a script. He gave it to me and I didn't even think to look at it.
Then I went to get it filled at the pharmacy on Wednesday. The pharmacist said it was a really low dose of Effexor (half the amount I was on previously). I said that maybe he wanted to build me up gradually... Then she said that he had changed my anti-p from Olanzapine to Seroquel. Hmm. I said that was news to me (which it was) and she decided she wanted to check with him before dispensing incase he made a mistake.
Couldn't get a reply out of him until Thursday night. It is the uni pharmacy - and that means that I won't be able to get it until next Wednesday now because of the holidays and the weekend and the university holiday.
He apologised for not discussing the change with me.
But that is just typical.
Bloody typical.
Why do I bother???
