40mg, for me...20 in the morning, and 20 at noon. Above 40mg, my skin gets red blotches/flushes, anxiety INCREASES, increased irritablility (no significant increase in blood pressure).I have noticed that alcohol generally DECREASES the long term effectiveness of Parnate. A good, strong B complex vitamin INCREASES the effectiveness. (alcohol depletes B-vitamins)
