Hey Holly,
I was into reading the board and also saw you were thinking about going to the hospital. I can only speak for the one I went to, but it did wonders for me.. its just a safe place to by while your meds might be going wacky,and you might be feeling wacky.. and I got to see some sort of Dr at my hospital every day .. whether it was a therapist or a psychiatrist. I know that in bigger cities that might be different, but it made since for me since I needed help right away, and not just a 30 min appt with my psychiatrist every month. I wish you the best :) :)
