I’ve mooted this idea before in Babbleland but I’m going to do it again, because I’m more serious about it this time!I don’t mean to be too critical of UK docs, I’m sure there are some great ones here, but it’s certainly difficult to find them.
The main problems I have with the UK are firstly that doctors will not prescribe stimulants unless your very ADHD, and secondly that no one seems to have an idea of how to treat Social Anxiety.
I am possibly mildly ADD, and just need an occasional stimulant to help me with concentration/motivation.
A previous UK doc prescribed me Dexedrine which worked well, and I didn’t abuse, but he retired.Has anyone had any experience of going abroad for treatment?
Someone called Glenn responded to my previous post, but stupidly I didn’t try and contact him.
Any advice appreciated
PS
I would also like to know of any UK docs who are any good!
