For those who gained weight on Effexor or other meds, how long were you on it before you started gaining weight? Was it immediate? Also, did you lose the weight after you stopped the medication (if you did stop)?
I have been on Effexor about 6 months. I have gained a few pounds, but I had lost a lot of weight due to my depression and anxiety before I started Effexor. I am getting married this summer and I already have my dress. I am getting totally paranoid that I am all of a sudden going to balloon. I am seeing my doctor on Friday and I think I might try to add something for the sexual side effects. Anything that will not put the pounds on?????
