Wellbutrin Immediate Release Dosing

Posted by gadman on March 15, 2005, at 16:45:01

Hi All... For those of you that have read a few of my posts you know that I recently am trying to add the addition of Wellbutrin to my daily dose of Effexor XR...

So far it is going pretty well, I have successfully cut back my E XR dose to appr 50 mg (Yes I am counting beads) and added in a little bit of Wellbutrin today.

The doc decided that the immediate release form would be the best since it was available in lower doses than the SR or XR release formats. And here comes the question: For those of you taking the immediate release format, how are you taking it? Once a day? Twice a day? Three times a day?

The doc told me to not take it past 1:00 PM in case it has any activation effects, but is that enough to keep it in my system til the next morning?

Thanks,

gadman
