Sure. This is what i found and understood:
-Medications that cause weight gain (Remeron, Zyprexa, TCA) do so primarily through H2 receptors.
-H2 antagonists and blockers, block the H2 receptor site. Axid (300 mg) and Zantac (150 mg) are H2 antagonists.
-If you take an H2 blocker with other medications, H2 receptors cannot be activated, therefore, no weight gain should be expected.
But if exercices, diet, Zantac and yoga don't reduce the weight gain, i would seriously think to change my medication. A healthy weight is VERY important.
