Hi

If your depression has a pattern to it then probably starting the meds before the depression hits would be a good idea.

When you get depressed does come on gradually or does it slap in you in the face suddenly?

I am wondering if you should be on a maintenance dose or something ... or fish oil, B vitamins. What does your doctor think you should do?

But enjoy those non-depressive moments as much as you can!

I am curious to know what plan of action your doctor suggests.

You might also want to keep a mood journal and listen to your body. Sometimes we think a depressive state just comes out of nowhere when in fact there were little signs that we didn't notice.

I hope this helps.

Maxime
