I was going to write the same thing, Lara. Hang in there! I have been on Lamictal for about 4 years, and it saved my life. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me. It is worth the wait.

> hang in there lara. I started lamictal at 50mgs, and my second week, i had the greatest relief from a terrible 3 year depression, which no ssri could ever touch, only irritate. It's been the only thing that has worked for my depression. Although you can feel the anti depressant effects quickly, it is still a slow process to get up to the therapeutic dosages.
