In reply to missed a dose of Celexa, posted by Shortelise on February 28, 2005, at 0:18:29
This may not be of comfort to you, but it does illustrate how different everyone is in their response to meds, or how different our conditions are. I took Celexa for a year (20mg/day dose) and frequently missed dosing. I never noticed anything when I missed a dose. In fact, when I quit Celexa, I didn't really notice much of anything since it took like a month to get out of my system. Could it be that your anxiety is just...manifesting itself, mentally, you know, not physically, but as a result of the whole "panic" of missing a dose? Sorry if I'm off base. Just a thought
> this is the second time in two years I have forgotten a dose. Last time was a Christmas, and I got wierd, nauseated, anxious. I remembered about 14 hours late. Today I forgot for 24 hours and was just feeling really off, not sick physically, but just anxious and strange. I took one right away and it should kick in soon.

> What is odd about this, and I wonder if anyone has anything to say about this, I was having these whacky feelings, free-floating anxiety, some anger, etc. and was trying to deal with the feelings, couldn't figure out if I should go into them, feel them, or try to supress them, and now I feel fairly nuts. I rarely feel nuts.
