In spite of all this, my mood is getting dark. My doctor wants to up the Lamictal but I thought I read somewhere that bipolar pts should not go above 300mg. Does anyone have any input?

I guess the problem is the meds were added gradually as the docs decided I had bipolar. Initially, it was just lexapro and then other mood stabilizers were added that did not work. When I could not sleep, they added remeron and then seroquel. And to be honest, I do not know how long I have been on the Wellbutrin. The lamictal over the past 15 months has definitely stablized me. But the other drugs were added by different docs and now I just do not know how to get myself down to one or two meds. The doc keeps saying if you have no side effects, don't worry. But so many meds surely cannot be good
