Hi:
When I took the 150 mg. Effexor, my heart-beat got REALLY high to the point where I almost ended up at E.R., NOT because of my M.I., rather S.E.s from the Effexor.

I called the pdoc. right away, and was instructed to discontinue immediately which I did. It was VERY scary thing for me to go through this experience. It was my worst experience in my life, although I've been taking several different 'potent' to 'semi-potent' med. one of which is the Zyprexa. After having called the pdoc., I was allergic to this.

However, your experience on the 75 mg. Effexor is MUCH milder in comparison to mine.

My hunch is, ... you may not be a good candidate to the Effexor as well as any of SSRIs. Because, in my knowledge, one SSRI does NOT work on you, then other SSRIs won't help you, either. You may need to find other form of anti-depressant, but first talk to your pdoc. in this regard.
H.G.
