Generic Remeron

Posted by lb50 on February 19, 2005, at 12:19:18

I'm switching from the Remoran Soltabs to generic mirtazapine tablets because of the huge difference in price. I'm wondering if the dosage amounts are equivalent. In other words, I was taking 45 mg of the Soltabs. Is 45 mg of the generic the same thing?

Also, I've been switching back and forth for about a week, trying to avoid any possible side effects from a direct change. The past two days, though, I've been a bit lightheaded and nauseous. Could this be a side effect? I'd think there wouldn't be any side effects if they're the same, but I'm extremely sensitive to changes in medication.

Thanks!
