It would have been easier on me to have been on part-time work; The interesting thing is, I could have cut down on working, but the employers aren't too forthcoming with telling us the options we have when we are ill. I got the impression they would just as soon I leave rather than work with me. But lest I sound bitter, I had a very good nurse-manager at the time when I was having the most trouble, and she worked with me but kept telling me I was risking my health by continuing to work. I didn't think I could survive without working, because I am the only wage-earner in this household{the cat refuses to work, because I have supported her too long.] But I did suffer a total physical, mental and emotional breakdown, so here I am on disability and wanting to work, now that I am somewhat better, but I am not by any means stable; no one wants to hire someone that might show up one day and then not be able to work for days or weeks, and rightly so.
Nardil is a good medication, so give it a good try, and work through the side effects if you can. U'D
