Hi,

I agree and have wrestled with this question. I am a 32 year old male who has taken a med of some sort for 10 years. I would go through periods of doing very well personally and professionally and then think to myself 1. Without meds I am done 2. I am built on a house of cards and 3. Who am I really. I finally found out the person I really am is me on medication. When I am not on meds I am a human who is lacking things it's body needs. It may be a stupid analogy but think of yourself as a diabetic or one who has a heart condition that needs meds to survive. Good question though and one I wrestle will occasionally still to this day. Good Luck. JN
