As for higher doses being less sedating...I think I posted that I've heard that, too. Most shrinks apparently start out at 7.5-15mgs...since 15mgs is the smallest tablet size (that I know of, anyway) a lot of docs will keep you there unless necessary to do otherwise, so it seems moving up the dosage ladder is a process.
That's usually the way it works with most meds - you titrate up slowly. At least that's what I always do. I'm too meds sensitive to try large amounts at once. It sounds like Remeron might be a good addition for you. Keep us posted if you try it.Take care,
