Taking tyrosine with an SSRI should be fine. The two operate with totally different mechanisms. Tyrosine is the precursor to dopamine and norepinephrine and doesn't effect serotonin. If anything the amino acid tryptophan or 5-HTP would be contraindicated since it's the precursor to serotonin, although many use it safely with SSRI's. You just have to be careful with dosing to make sure you don't invoke serotonin syndrome with the latter.
