I would like to allay your fears about Seroquel, as I think I was apprehensive about it for the same reason you are - namely that you strongly resist taking any medication that is an "anti-psychotic".

This medication may indeed help someone with psychotic issues, but at a dosage of 400mg/day,
which is 16x of 25mg (typical off-label dosage for sleep issues). I can't imagine even remaining conscious at 400mg, but it does help many people. At 25mg, you just get sleepy and there were _no_ wierd side-effects. I'd compare to a strong dose of Benadryl.

Also, you could chop a 25mg in half and try that first.
