hoo boy do I have an opinion on this!! Last August I stopped taking my hrt (in the form of birth control) because of the migraine headaches it caused. Within a week my depression swooped to a new low. My antidepressant then stopped working, my anxiety and panic attacks increased 2-fold, and according to my p-doc and gyno, all this could be due to the hrt and my "self management" of it. It took 2 months to straighten it out.

I asked my p-doc what women did before treatment for menopause and she replied, "divorce and murder"!!!
