It is very sedating. I was on it in the past and even at a low starting dose of .25 mg it made me sleepy during the dayI eventually ended up taking 4 mgs a day, and I would split it up morning and evening, I was pretty much a walking zombie, but at the time I needed it badly and it helped me with paranoia tremendously. If I were having the symptoms now that I had back then I would take it, but only in the short term because the zombie effect was too much to live with long term. Good Luck if you try it.
