Actually, once the Wellbutrin was added, the Lexapro seemed fine. I had been getting very sleepy during the day while on the Lexapro alone.
When the Wellbutrin was added, we had discussed the possibility that I might be able to go off of the Lexapro at some point (at that time, I was dealing with some particularly stressful stuff - caretaker for ill parents). When my situation eased, I began to taper off of the Lexapro with NO negative effects. I got down to 5 mg/day for a period of about 6 weeks. It never even occurred to me that I would have any ill effects when I discontinued it (based on the ease with which I tapered).

Boy, I butchered that one, huh? Thanks! :)

I guess his thought was that I might be able to be treated with one drug rather than two. He is aware that I would like to take as few drugs as possible.
I guess the most obvious answer would be for me to just start back with the Lexapro. Probably shouldn't have rocked the boat! But now that I have and suffered this long, I would like to make sure that I have given the trial enough time before giving it up - just don't think I can hold out too much longer!Regards,
