Does coming off faster make a difference?

Posted by JACJ on January 26, 2005, at 9:17:55

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions relating to tapering. I came off a benzo in 4 weeks and then an antipsychotic in 3 weeks right after each other. Was this way too fast? Has or will this hurt me in any way? I am 10 months off everything and still have w/d symptoms but not nearly as bad as I did. If I would have tapered right maybe I wouldn't be going thru this. Will my self get back to normal since I tapered so fast as compared to going slow?

Just wondering your inputs.

JACJ
