I think Larry Hoover pointed out that Lunesta (Eszopiclone) is a slight variation of Imovane (Zopiclone) which has been available outside the U.S. for about 15 years. It will be the first insomnia drug approved by the FDA for long-term use. I expect we will soon see an ad campaign touting it as the new wonder drug for insomnia.
