Well basically you would be making a switch from the most site-selective SSRI to serotonin (Celexa/Lexapro) to 2 broad spectrum AD's - Effexor effecting serotonin->norep->dopamine in that order, and somewhat unblanced in the percentage, which is why a lot of people dislike it.

Cymbalta is basically an Effexor that is actually balanced much more correctly, for example effecting serotonin 33%, norep 33% and dopamine 33%. Now, I am not updated on that, but it might be just balanced more like : 45% sertonin 45% noep, 10% dopamine. When dopamine is involved in AD's the FDA doesn't like them as much (abuse potential).
