Links to the official websites and prescribing info. And it doesn't hide the negative reports about drugs that the manufacturer doesn't want you to hear. Some people have a hard time on Effexor, you ought to know that. Maybe it won't affect you the same way, that's great.
But don't let the fact that others may have had a bad time scare you so much. Different people have different reactions to a med. Maybe effexor is not for you, maybe it's the best thing out there for you. Only YOU can make that decision. Getting input from your doctors is a good idea. Getting info from the Internet can be helpful too, but take everything you read on the net with a grain of salt. You will probably read more complaints than praise, just because people who are dealing with the med okay, won't be researching it and posting here. They're off living their lives!
