Actually yes they would hide studies, and they have. It has recently been made aware that Lilly did infact not disclose information that lead to the conclusion that prozac and similar antidepressants can increase the risk of suicidal behavior.

Plus, contrary to popular belief, we have not seen a reduction in the suicide rate in the post antidepressant era. See for yourself. You won't find a study that shows that antidepressants do infact decrease suicide (in the long term)
