Hi SDW

I'm on Cymbalta 60mg and Mirapex .5mg. I've been on the Mirapex for 4 months. My doc and I have decided that the Cymbalta is causing - if not exasterbating - my apathy, so we're switching to Lexapro. He wants to try to augment with Metyrapone (1000mg) before increasing the Mirapex. We're not exactly sure it's the Cymbalta that's been causing the increased apathy - but it seemed to get worse for me soon after starting the Cymbalta. HOWEVER - it may work for you. I don't mean to be a downer!

The main symptoms of my depression are severe apathy/anhedonia and fatigue as well. Keep us updated as you move the Mirapex up to a higher dose. Any side effects?

Jerry
