What is "neuroleptica"? Anti-psychotic meds? If so, beware of the tarkindysthia (sp?). I developed a "twirling tongue" on Abilify. Geodon has not caused such things.

Anyhoo, Lithium... well, I have a feeling I have an unusual number of side effects - nausea, tremors, thyroid problems, getting sweaty at times (yuck), and sometimes I just don't feel good. But it and the Geodon have "stabilized" me, most of the time anyway. I'm still not completely up to par, but definitely better.

If you do try Lithium and it makes you really nauseous, you might try the liquid form - that helped me.

Good luck.

I have cyclic unipolar depression, that's what they claim anyway. And it can be true. They want to add lithium as a augmentor, i'm not to knowledged about neuroleptica.. which s/e do you have?
