Since I began taking moclobemide (a low dose: 100 mg/day), I have had a 100% reduction in migraine frequency.
I only considered moclobemide because it is one of the small number of anti-depressants that generally has no anti-sexual effects.
However, I find moclobemide does not do much for me in the way of an anti-depressant (mild dysthymia in my case), and I dislike even the slight serotonin boost it produces (serotonin increases make me feel less alive). I would prefer something which is more purely pro dopamine & noradrenaline. Does anyone have any experience and/or references for adding or substituting deprenyl/selegeline (in theory deprenyl might be a problem in conjunction with moclobemide, but perhaps not at such low doses) or bupropion or another candidate that meets the above criteria? Thanks to all.
