Oh man not getting resful sleep can have a lot to do with depression. Well feeling sluggish moreso I guess. You might have sleep apnea, a fancy word for snoring, and that really screws with your REM sleep. Being depressed also PHYSICALLY makes your brain less active and leaves your body feeling exhausted all the time. I would go get sleep therapy, it's not quack science, a lot of people say they get more restful sleep after getting themselves checked out by a doctor. Good luck.
