Diet drug for ADHD?

Posted by anxiety_free on December 15, 2004, at 4:23:55

I take adderall for adhd and to boost my antidepressants. I take occasional days off of adderall to prevent building up too much of a tolerance. During these days off, my adhd comes back full force, so I was wondering if a diet drug could help, since they are designed to be similar to amphetamines. Specifically, I am curious about Bontril, since it is apparently considered stronger than Phentermine (Phen is a schedule IV drug; Bontril is schedule III). Any experience, ideas, or general input?
