I stopped taking Depakote due to lack of emotion while on it and the mere fact that I never suffered from Manic episodes. Anyways, my anxiety has seemed to be on the high side and I thought I'd try Klonozopan. Any pro and cons to taking this drug and/or this combo?

I was on Depakote+Effexor+clonazepam for quite a while, and I thought it was pretty good generally. Clonazepam.. good points bad points.. the good part is that it *works* for social and panic anxiety quite well. It also has an antimanic effect which is often overlooked. It is next to impossible to lethally overdose. It is very very cheap. Cheap, effective, safe. The down side (and this varies by individual) is that it can be potentially depressogenic (and that's often dose-related). Another downside is tolerance and withdrawal issues. Some people claim no tolerance, some end up chasing up the dose to maintain the same effect. Some say they can stop relatively rapidly with no trouble-others say it is the toughest med to get off they have taken. YMMV.
