Are you taking it with food? If not, try to take it with a little bit of food. Also, the agitated, shaky feeling you experience when you get hungry is likely just a drop in your blood sugar. I often experience that, and it can be freaky (because it can sometimes feel like an anxiety attack). To avoid blood sugar drops over the course of the day, I try to eat some healthy, protein snacks like almonds, cheese and crackers, an apple with some cheese, etc. I find this stops the shakes and the hunger from hitting me.

> I am finding Effexor very effective as you all might know by now but the one problem I do find is stomach nausea about an hour after taking it, this is irritating while working. Also, when I get hungry I get shaky and very agitated this is a weird side-effect I know. I just hope I don't get worse stomach problems in the future. I don't have any weight gain at the moment "knock on wood" so I hope I don't in the future that would really make me depressed I must say :-(
