> No I currently take adderall. I sorta mentioned Desoxyn to my doctor and sorta tries to change the subject.."they all work the same" I know Despxyn would last longer, but would be more habit forming potentially. And if the DEA is writing letters for adderall, I would never be put on Desoxyn, but if we would live in a free drug society, I would not mind trying it for a month and see what happens, but remember a lot of doctors are hesitant when it comes to stimulants, exspecially if your an adult. Because it is the government that controls what you take, not the doctors. Heck its the same government that granted me social security benifits saying that I have a severe disability that requires the use of the drugs. But I guess I will give concerta a try. As non of the Newer anti depressants does not give the relief effects of adderall and I don't think Strattera will work if the Cymbalta is not working for ADD because their both Norep. inhibitors. With my hospitilizations, the doctors were really pushing me to make sure the meds made me more awake, the more awake I am the more motivated I become. We shall see.

My question was directed at Kotsunega, but thanks for for reply Eljakeo,
Desoxyn would not necessarily last longer. Now that all the SR (Guademet) forms have been discontinued, I know people who take the only remaining form (5mg IR) several times a day 3-4. It would not necessarily be more habit forming, but most people who somehow have tried it, say it is the most alerting-stimulating of the Stims.

You have been Hospitalised for ADD?
The Docs are wanting your meds to increase your wakefullness?
Then in this serious scenario, I don't see why a trial of Desoxyn shouldn't be initiated, if other less potent Stims have? shown to be less than effective for you.

Cheers
