Hi, I am new to this forum....but unfortunately, too familiar with medications.
Does anyone know if a schedule II medication (Adderall) can be prescribed "ethically" for a known (in the patients chart)amphetamine abuser?
The persons chart indicates she was 130lbs, 5'9" and is 30 years old (this was in 2000). She was using approximately 1-1.5 grams of "crystal" (smoking) per day. The doc prescribed 160mg of Adderall, 25mg of Ritalin, 100mg of Topamax and 100mg of Effexor(this was the INITIAL DOSE). She resides in California.
Any comments or advice or suggestions would be more than welcome.
