Have you found that Trileptal lowers your nerve pain? What was your pain level before Trileptal (1-10) and now while on Trileptal?
Also, does Trileptal cause you any memory problems?
I would follow the advice of your neurologist yet listen carefully to your body for feedback on how you respond.
