When I needed to start taking blood pressure medication, I asked my doctor for pindolol because of what I'd read about it in regard to augmenting SSRIs. Unfortunately it has not done that for me. It does lower my blood pressure but gave me no detectable antidepressant boost with Celexa, Lexapro or Cymbalta.
