> Hi,
> I am currently taking Klonopin for problems with panic and severe anxiety, about 1.25 mg./day in divided doses. I have been on Xanax before (.5-1 mg./day) and personally think Xanax made me feel a lot more tired (mainly a 'sleepy' sort of tired) than Klonopin did/does(I have been on .5 mg/day of Klonopin in the past, too).
> It (the Klonopin) has been working beautifully for me -- I just got back on it a few weeks ago after my initial experience with it 2 yrs. previous and was instructed to discontinue my Serax rx(20 mg./evening) b/c it just wasn't really working out for me at that time.

> How long have you been taking Klonopin for(recently/consecutively--like when given a new rx for it, taking it every day as rx'ed, etc.)--and what for kind of anxiety disorder(s)?I have S anxiety disorder , Social Fobia , I dont know wxactly how is called in English.
I have been on klonopin for about 2 years intermitently
> Also, do you have co-morbid depression with the anxiety naturally/normally?
>Sorry =(( , what is the meaning of co-morbid depression ??
> Personally, I prefer Klonopin over Xanax for panic/severe anxiety because it lasts a lot longer than regular (immediate-release) Xanax, which is the version I had been on. I have no experience with Xanax XR, although u might want to ask around on the boards here for others experiences with it.
I tried Xanat and klonopin with Zoloft 3 years ago . Klono made me depressed and Xanath seems to help me although just for a short time . But I did not try high doses
> A lovely aspect of Klonopin for me is that I don't feel "drugged up" or tired while on it--just a lot more at ease and relaxed ('normal' or 'normalized', if that makes sense) which stands in marked contrast to being off of it--which seems to result in an all-pervasive/debilitating, overwhelming panicked state/panic attacks for the majority of my waking hours. :(
So lucky you are !!
> I am currently on 20 mg./Lexapro a day for seasonal aff. depression and it has been the best medicine for my s.a.d. (and I have tried many SSRI's + Effexor XR & Wellbutrin XL).
> How long have you been on Nardil, and was it helping ur depression before u started taking Klonopin?? Could it be that it is "pooping-out"??
> Or it may be possible that ur depression is intensified around this time of year, kind of like S.A.D...If you haven't already, I say schedule an appt. with your pdoc for asap & in the meantime make a list of possible reasons for the increase/appearance of the depression besides just the Klonopin, because you never know...

>I have been on Nardil for 1 year and 2 months . I notice a change in NArdil effect when pfizer change the formula . After that time, side effects has increased a lot . Mainly imsomnia .
My depression was controlled and is still controlled . The fear is still here but at least I can manage to deal with it , not like when I was on SRRI that it was uncontrollable.Im sure the depression is caused by klono . I had the same feeling on Zoloft . And when I lower the dose again I felt better
I really appreciate all your lines =)
