I was on it for about two months last year and was getting some AD effect from it, but I had to get off it when I got a rash. I may yet give it another try, as I am convinced that the rash I had was a sun/sunscreen rash (we were on our first trip to Hawaii when it happened, with a new sunscreen, too). My old psychiatrist wouldn't listen to me, but my new one seems willing to.

I'm currently on Trileptal alone and all that seems to do for me is keep me from thinking morbid thoughts like "Won't it be great when I get to die someday?"

In addition to getting back on Lamictal, I'm also considering trying Cymbalta (in addition to the Trileptal? or with Lamictal? or alone, if my new doc will let me try that -- I have reason to question my BPII DX).
