Wellbutrin and anxiety - should I try again?

Posted by annesand on November 19, 2004, at 14:11:24

After an agonizing withdrawal from Effexor, I tried Wellbutrin for depression/anxiety. It was good for charging my battery and for weight loss, but it made my anxiety worse. I added Lexapro, but the anxiety was still terrible, so I dropped the Wellbutrin. Now I've been on just Lexapro for a while, and my mood is good, but I'm pretty sleepy and gaining weight again. Does it make any sense to try adding Wellbutrin back in? Maybe now that my mood is under control, I wouldn't have so much anxiety?? I know everybody's different, but I wonder if anyone has tried this with success. Thanks.
