Hi!

I live in England. I take the antidepressant lofepramine (Gamanil). It is a tricyclic antidepressant which usually causes far fewer side effects than the traditional tricyclics such as dothiepin (Prothiaden). Before the SSRIs dothiepin was the most commonly prescribed antidepressant in England!!

You might like lofepramine (Gamanil) because it is very unlikely to cause sexual problems. Psychiatrists like it because it has low toxicity in overdose.
