In reply to adrafinil vs. modafinil (provigil)?, posted by yeltom on November 16, 2004, at 2:24:29

I have tried both Modafinil and Adrafinil.
Personaly I was very disapointed with Modafinil, it made me anxious without increasing motivation.

Adrafinil was the best drug I've ever been on (when it worked). It really helped my motivation and unlike every other stimulent I've tried it was axylotic.
I noticed an imedeat effect at the dosage of 900mgs. The only side effects I had were severe insomnia, and some irritability/anger.
The problem was that Adrafinil suddenly stopped working, I don't know why.

If I were you I would give Adrafinil a try, it certainly is an interesting drug.
An alternative could be very low dose dexedrine, I know that stimulents often cause anxiety, I found that dexedrine in very low doses does not cause much anxiety.

Sorry for poor spelling I am dyslexic
